Thank you Hospital Sisters Mission Outreach (Springfield, IL) and Ascension Parish (Oak Park, IL)l!! A container of Medical supplies and solar equipment departed the Mission Sisters Mission Outreach warehouse in Springfield, Illinois on March 14, 2014 heading for the Chipata Diocese in Zambia. The container was filled to the brim by the dedicated volunteers and employees at Mission Outreach.  Items in the container include the solar equipment that was purchased from donations raised by the Ascension Lenten Project 2013 and unused medical supplies, such as beds, wheelchairs, gloves and cribs that are collected by Mission Outreach from hospitals all over the midwest.   These items benefit St. Peter Kapyera clinic that is currently in progress along with Minga and Lumezi hospitals that are in need of supplies.   Before the door closes on the container, the group prays for safe travel and for those that will benefit from the supplies.    For more information on Mission Outreach  http://www.mission-outreach.org
